remember waaaaayyy back when I said we didnt have an IVF drug-haul worthy of a photo? WELL, that was then, this is now. We have had to re-up the pen-based drug *twice*, and this afternoon the decision was to add LH to the cocktail, likely because the late-start period restarted things. So W headed to the open-until-late-night fertility drug store in the North Shore to pick up more shots. Those, plus the progesterone *big gun needle* shots will hopefully round out our stash. All together, its a pretty impressive stash, but the best news is that we prey think that insurance is covering it ALL.
W goes back on Thursday for yet another round of ultrasounds and bloodwork, and we are thinking we will trigger that night (12 days of stims all and all) and do the ER on Saturday. This process feels SO controlled and yet still so unpredictable. HELP!
Since the one thing we can control is acupuncture, I'd love some advice. Session the night before the ET and the afternoon after is good, right? Not sure we can do it morning/afternoon of the ET given our schedule. What did others do....

My office has the acupuncture right in the same building and did it right before and after transfer
ReplyDeleteIt's all very confusing right up until you get the go-ahead for retrieval. Then you know exactly what your timeline is going to look like. As I understand it, you are supposed to do acupuncture right before and right after. I think the night before and the afternoon of would be ok. Good luck!!!!
