Mother's Day (observed) in our house was on Friday night, when we went out for dinner (alone!) and had three glorious hours to enjoy each other. The rest of the weekend was fantastic in a water tables and walks kind of way - the sun was out and W is wrapping up the semester so we were all particularly carefree. The only bummer was that we are not, as in NOT preggo. Again, W is taking it much harder than I am. I can see how the whole TTC train feels even more crazy to the gestating (or in this case, non-gestating) mom. We may take the next cycle off since we are taking an extended Mem Day vacation that could complicate timing or maybe throw caution to the wind and try to squeeze in one more frozen try before our summer in CA -- where the fresh sperm is plentiful and timing less of an issue.
Anyways, just wanted to give a quick update..and share some snaps. Loving, loving, loving the funny, chatty age of 15 months! Izzy "helped" with some gardening...

Adorable pictures! Glad you had a nice mother's day despite TTC frustrations.
ReplyDeleteI see Cate Blanchett in her face! She's the most beautiful child. Sorry about the BFN. Feeling your pain...been there, done that. GOOD LUCK with the fresh sperm round. Look forward to some positive posts in the near future...
