No cycle, Low cycle...

This cycle is a no/low(stress) cycle...we still arent sure if we are going to "try" or not, but for now we are assuming that if we do, it will be the low(stress) cycle that we both feel that we need. That means no CB monitor that requires you to start POASing on day 9 -- no stress if the insem date is when we are away. If the timing works, then we insem, if not, we dont!

The FFF has the goods and we told them we are hoping for an insem the day we get back into town (May 31st) - assuming we get a positive OPK on the 29th or 30th. We have a sneaking suspition that we have been too early with our insems so hopefully forcing it to be later than in the past, will actually be a good thing. BUT the long and short of it is that we arent stressing and are taking the month to play -- enjoy summer and our bubbly little Iz -- and prepare (KD) for the next two live cycles.

In the meantime, our house has become a petting zoo - Izzy is obsessed with feeding the dog -- kibble bit, by kibble bit. Im not sure if this means that, like most "urban" kids, our dog IS wildlife to Izzy, or if she just loves the dog so much she cant help herself. I will note that when we took her to visit farm animals all she wanted to do was "baa" at them (no food for you!).

  1. bunny is not yet old enough to resist eating the kibble himself. also, i'm pretty sure he doesn't understand any of the following phrases that he hears all the time:
    - no, that's not for bailey.
    - the food is for you, not your doggie.
    - eat your food, don't put it on the floor.

the dog, however, understands everything. yet he still hovers under the high chair during meals. so much for all his training.
