And here is the difference between FFF and Dr. Wonderful -- FFF wouldn't have called us back until the end of the day when it is Time For Call-backs and the nurse would have said, "just come in tomorrow, timing is fine" but provided no explaination - versus, Dr. W who calls back herself by noon, walks W through the blood results and explains that she is indeed ovulating and the reason that we cant see the egg is because it had already been released but the blood work numbers indicate that she does have an egg (??) and that she is on the "upswing" of the surge so tomorrow morning will be a fine time.
Now, the fact that the end result is the same - no insemination until 24 hours after the peak - has not been lost on us. W tried to push for an insem this afternoon, but no go. We are frustrated. We both think its too late -- confirmed by Dr. G(oogle), who tells me that we are missing the 12-24 hour window we need, but we are trying to lock into Dr. W's optimism and just "go with the flow" since we dont really have any other option, right? If nothing else, this is #5 for insurance purposes, which is one step closer to the magic #6 and IVF coverage!
