Starting at 2pm this afternoon W and I are going away together for over 24 hours by.our.selves! It will be the first time, since she was born, that we will spend a night away from Iz together! We are heading to a cute town on the north shore to stay at a quiet inn on a nature preserve. I am hoping the rain stays at bay so we can take a quick stroll on the beach or trek through the wetlands. Regardless, we have "fancy" dinner reservations and are planning for some quality sleep-in time.
This is exactly the recharge that we both need before the holiday craze/dissertation stress really sets in. We come back on Saturday around dinner to kick-off Hanukkah 2012 with W's extended family and then have plans nearly every night through New Years.
