Marrakesh!

We had an amazing trip.Morocco is incredibly baby-friendly, which meant that every where we went people oohed and ahhed over Izzy and generally went out of their way to make sure she was accommodated -- which for us meant that we didnt have to worry about her being her typical toddler self and it really was a vacation!

We never fully went on the local time so she could make it through 7pm dinners and then we all got to sleep in later than usual -- 8:30/9 (ah luxury!!). We were traveling with my parents so we even got some alone time (date night, massage, etc), a major bonus! The food was amazing and the excitement of the markets and general hub-bub was even more interesting to witness through her eyes. Toddlers are like sponges so while I doubt that she will remember much, she definitely found it fascinating and even more, our experience definitely gave us confidence to do more international traveling with her. Since we are travel hounds, this is particularly exciting news! The only really rough part was the actual travel -- the flights were ok but with layovers, it put our total travel time to about 13 hours, which is 4-5 hours too long. Our lesson learned: cap travel time to 8 hours MAX and everyone does better :)

More details to come, but for now, here are some snaps!
