The UNChallenge

Its been nearly a month since I last posted -- mainly because going back to work fulltime and having a 3 month old -- ur, as of tomorrow, 4 month old, leaves little time for coming up with witty posts, but really..was I ever all that witty -- I think not..

But the folks over at 1 in Vermillion have created just the un-challenge to get me back on the blogging wagon -- for that 1 faithful reader who has stuck with me :)....

It starts tomorrow, but to set the stage, tomorrow marks Izzy's 4 month birthday and somehow our little nugget has turned into a kid. Its been pretty amazing to watch over the past few weeks as she has started to gain control over her body to the point that she can wiggle towards and grab at things she wants and squirm away (sometime violently) from things she most definitely does NOT want. What started out as only little giggle here and there in the late afternoons when she was totally punch-drunk has turned into full on chuckles throughout the day. Oddly, it is mainly brought on by W's rendition of BaaBaa Blacksheep -- so I guess her humor is as quirky as our own....She still has her hard days, but this was just not one of them, and they seem to be less dramatic and fewer....June 1 also marks the day we head west for 5 weeks of Bay Area-ness..and not a moment too soon. Summer (humidity hell) has just set in over New England. We had an awesome weekend of sunning and ocean breezes in Ptown this past weekend, and are now excited to introduce Izzy to our most favorite place ever...
